PODS® of Lexington brings holiday magic to help support Toys for Tots drive, Nov. 1 – Dec. 15
Moving and storage company will play Santa Claus by helping collect toys for Lexington children
From Nov. 1 – Dec. 15 between the hours of 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., the public is encouraged to make a donation by bringing a new, unwrapped toy and help fill the PODS® containers located at the following four S&S Tire locations:
- Eastland Shopping Center, 1213 Winchester Road, Lexington. 859-281-8540.
- Beaumont, 3070 Fieldstone Way, Lexington. 859-219-2081.
- Hamburg, 1512 Pleasant Ridge Dr., Lexington. 859-264-7400.
- Brannon Crossing, 500 E. Brannon Road, Nicholasville. 859-272-1440.
Anyone who drops off a toy receives 10 percent off Bridgestone Tires or services over $100.
“Last year, we helped collect 56,000 toys throughout 16 Kentucky counties for the Toys for Tots campaign and are hoping to collect even more this year,” said David and Ken Kocon, brothers and co-owners of PODS Lexington. “This is a great way for us and the community to step up and help support this great cause.”

“The demand for toys this year is higher with the continued financial hardships across the state of Kentucky,” said SSgt. C.J. Santimaw, Lexington Toys for Tots coordinator. “We thank PODS Lexington for supporting our community and helping us collect special holiday toy donations for our local children.”
The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help children in need experience the joy of Christmas, to nurture the development of children, to unite members of local communities in a common cause and to contribute to the future betterment of communities. In the 63 years since the Toys for Tots program began, the Marines have distributed more than 419 million toys to more than 195 million underprivileged children.
