-- Following a cyber attack by hackers that brought down the established website of the indie labels SRI Records and SRI Jazz, the all-new site is back with Elvis and Christina.
The attack which happened around a week ago had www.srirecords.com, which has had a major presence on the internet since 1999, completely vanish from the web. A new site has been quickly built by the SRI Staff and Charming Web and the grand re-opening of the new site comes with lost recordings by Elvis Presley and a young Christina Aguilera recording and many other releases from the label's vault.
The new site also features some great classic recordings by blues artists like Elmore James and John Lee Hooker, jazz releases from Della Reese and Terry Gibbs, rock classics like All Star Chartbusters and even a John Travolta album.
SRIRecords reopens with a new look and better security, including an all new shopping cart carrying our newest releases. The cyber attack is believed to be in response to the label's head, Shelly Liebowitz's, remarks that music, movies and television shows are not free for the taking as some groups have said. "We will continue to bring the best new and classic music to the public at very reasonable cost and we will continue to support the rights of artists", Liebowitz stated.
SRI Jazz and SRI Records are part of SRI Label Group providing quality new and collectible Blues, Jazz, Country and Rock N Roll from major artists past and present. As one of the first websites on the internet to offer collectible music, SRIRecords.com established itself as a pioneer offering music on the web since 1999. With industry veteran Shelly Liebowitz at the helm over the last 15 years, SRI has strived to provide a standard of excellence in the world of music.
