Adaptation: A Presentation for Sustainable Style Design and Fashion Show
The Bellwether Project
Retrofit Republic specializes in vintage and recycled clothing with the vision to change the belief that fashion and eco-sustainability are mutually exclusive. "When our communities are being hit, first and hardest, by climate change, to look the other way is unimaginable. There are real economic and ecological costs when we blindly throw everything away and the fashion world is no exception. Adaptation is about a strong visual aesthetic but it's also about sustainability in practice with recycled goods, vintage apparel, and environmentally friendly practices." - Julia Rhee, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Retrofit Republic. As a values-driven ywniab business, Retrofit Republic is committed to impeccable style, sustainability efforts, and initiatives that benefit low-income populations, communities of color, and the LGBTQ family.
