Durham-Raleigh-Chapel Hill food truck enthusiasts get fed with Roaming Hunger
Roaming Hunger, hub for all things street food, launches interactive map and catering system for the Triangle Area (Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill) on Nov. 13th, 2012.
Durham, NC– November 13, 2012 – America’s largest food truck locator and hub for all things street food, Roaming Hunger has launched a comprehensive food truck site exclusively for the Durham/Raleigh/
Residents and visitors of the Research Triangle are able to track their favorite food trucks in real-time, book catering, and receive mobile food truck alerts. Users are able to filter their searches by breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night, allowing them to spend less time finding trucks and more time diving mouth first into the Triangle’s hidden gourmet treasures!
The Triangle boasts over 50 trucks that service one of the most unique regions in the country. Their notable obstacle is it’s enormous size and geographically diluted population that lacks a centralized food truck scene. Clearly an inconvenience for consumers, Laura Bonilla of Big City Sandwiches notes that “Roaming Hunger has the potential to be a crucial ingredient in unifying the Triangle’s dispersed food truck scene through it’s exhaustive truck locator map and easy catering solution.”
“Street food is supposed to be simple,” says Roaming Hunger founder Ross Resnick. “We are providing the Triangle with an easy way to identify which truck is most accessible to them at any given time. Our system has been wildly successful in all the major food truck markets—Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York and we are eager to help increase momentum in a budding food truck landscape, the Research Triangle.
