Nov. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Dr. Anthony Fava (http://www.drfava.com/), a chiropractor and head of Advanced Center for Injury & Wellness Care in Wayne, will host a free seminar about non-invasive treatment for chronic back pain on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. The presentation will be held at 508 Hamburg Turnpike, Suite 203, and will feature an informative discussion of the new Antalgic-Trak™ table, a multi-positional power traction system that offers effective non-surgical spinal decompression.

The free seminar is part of Dr. Fava’s monthly series that covers an array of topics concerning health and wellness. Seating is limited and reservations are required; anyone interested in attending should call (973) 942-9400 to register. During his presentation on November 15, Dr. Fava will discuss the many benefits and applications of using the Antalgic-Trak (http://www.drfava.com/antalgic-trak.htm) for treating spinal, disc, and vertebral injuries and painful conditions.

“The Antalgic-Trak is truly revolutionary when it comes to spinal decompression, which is such an important therapeutic component for patients with chronic back pain,” said Fava. “The system’s versatility enables our chiropractors and physical therapists to really pinpoint areas of the spine that need work, so we can deliver more targeted results to a wider patient group than even before.”

One of Dr. Fava’s patients, Annette Linker of Totowa, had recent success with Antalgic Trak. She said “I had tried everything except for surgery for my chronic back pain and three herniated disks. Thanks to this treatment, I have my quality of life back - I can walk, bend freely and even exercise again, with no pills.”

The word “antalgic” means to counteract or avoid pain and refers to a posture or gait an individual assumes to lessen pain. According to its website, Antalgic-Trak offers enhanced decompression versatility that permits custom spinal positioning of the lumbar-pelvic and cervical spines. Its articulated postural positioning, in up to 10 positions, can be customized to the patient’s needs to result in improved treatment outcomes for injuries to discs, vertebrae, and spinal joints.

Dr. Anthony Fava is one of only eight certified doctors in the state of New Jersey who are authorized to treat with Antalgic-Trak™.
