Williamsburg Environmental Group, Inc. (WEG) Welcomes Rachel Roberts to the Regulatory Team

Nov. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Williamsburg, VA; November 8, 2012 -- Williamsburg Environmental Group, Inc. (WEG), a local environmental consulting and engineering firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Rachel Roberts.  Rachel joins our expert Regulatory Team as a Senior Regulatory Specialist based in the Williamsburg office.  Her primary responsibilities will include National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance and documentation, permit strategy, and permit document support.

Ms. Roberts brings with her more than ten years experience in environmental policy and management, and has guided several projects successfully through the NEPA documentation process.  Prior to working at WEG, Ms. Roberts served as an Environmental Project Manager at Analytical Services, Inc. where she provided NEPA expertise in instituting a Department-level NEPA program for the Department of Commerce, Office of the Secretary, Office of Sustainable Energy and Environmental Programs, as well as prepared reports to the President’s Council on Environmental Quality and the Office of Management and Budget.

Ms. Roberts received a B.S. degree in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Environmental Science with an expected graduation in 2013. With her federal government experience, she is uniquely positioned to understand the challenges facing civilian and military installations throughout the country.  As an experienced environmental policy project manager, Ms. Roberts will be able to help navigate the complex environmental regulations and provide effective, environmentally-sound solutions for all of WEG’s clientele.
