Singer/songwriter Kristine Re-releases Home For Christmas EP for the 2012 Holiday Season

Nov. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Missouri City, TX (November 6, 2012) -- Trigg and Trigg Music/ (ASCAP) announced Friday, that it would reissue inspirational singer/songwriter Kristine’s 2011 - Home For Christmas EP.  Home For Christmas is available now online as a digital download and CD at Amazon.com, cdbaby and on iTunes. The CD will also be impacting Texas radio and online music outlets everywhere.

Home For Christmas features two original Christmas offerings, “Christmas Day” and “Home For Christmas.” The third song, “I’ve Got Something to Sing About” with its dancing retro feel is a bonus track. It is slated to be the first single from her upcoming full length CD, offering listeners a sampling of things to come. Anticipate a 2013 release. Kristine collaborated with her husband Steve Trigg to pen and produce all three songs.

Home For Christmas is a gift from Kristine to everyone celebrating the joy of the holiday season. But, it also pays tribute. Kristine was originally inspired to record the EP to recognize our military service men and women who courageously put their lives on the line to fight when our nation suddenly became a nation united and a country at war. “I became excited and inspired upon hearing the announcement of the war’s end and the president’s commitment to bring our troops home. The news prompted me to write, record, and release Home For Christmas.” Now a year after the CD’s original release a fact exists that must be underscored. The grim reality is some of those brave men and women will never make it home again. “We never want to forget their ultimate sacrifice. Each one of those heroes will remain in our hearts forever.” The ballad "Home For Christmas" celebrates the sacrifice of our fallen troops and welcomes our soldiers who are finally coming home.  “I pray these songs and this CD blesses and gives them comfort as we celebrate and remember their valor.”

The decision was made to re-release the EP and offer it at a lower price. It is also an opportunity to generate interest, ring in the holiday season and introduce Kristine’s music to radio. About Kristine:

Known as the girl with the golden voice and the million dollar smile -- this classically trained soprano is a native of Saginaw, Michigan. She is an honors graduate of Spelman College. Kristine was formerly signed with The Malaco Music Group imprint label  J-Town Records and enjoyed Billboard chart success on the Hot 100 R&B singles chart in the late '90s. Multitalented, her gift enables her to sing a variety of genres and styles.  But God has chosen this songtress for the gospel.
