-- Labpix, a company based within London's West End have took the plunge to create a new innovative game for the Apple iTunes Store. In response to the London riots which took place in 2011, they now plan to mimic the events that took place, add in several twists and produce a game that is set to become one of the most anticipated games in the history of mobile phones and tablets. Their initial plan is to bring together the chaos and destruction that occurred during the riots, with a unique twist of plots to create a better sense of action. The atmosphere during the London 2011 riots were violent, and they want to mimic this experience. The main character of the game, finds himself being chased by the Police. However, it turns out the man being chased is innocent.
The story behind the game takes place in Peckham, United Kingdom. Labpix announced that the main character will be tasked with the opportunity of evading the law. It will be the players responsibility to guide the free running character through walls and fences in an attempt to escape the law and prove his innocence.
Labpix's game however, has already received criticism before any pictures or media have been released. Campaigners who disagreed with the riots are arguing that Labpix's game will glorify an incident which should of never happened. Other members of the public are highly anticipating the game and cannot wait for it's launch. One member of the public stated that the game may do the people of Britain some justice, as the main story character is indeed, innocent.
