Snell & Wilmer Partner Cynthia Alexander Elected Vice-chair of Nevada Public Radio Board

Alexander, a partner in its Las Vegas office, has been elected to serve as Vice-Chair for the Nevada Public Radio board of directors. Alexander has served on the board of directors since June 2006 and most recently was treasurer.

Nevada Public Radio was incorporated in December, 1975 as an independent, Nevada non-profit corporation. Its flagship station, KNPR began broadcasting on March 24, 1980 as Nevada's first National Public Radio (NPR) affiliated station. Nevada Public Radio operates a non-commercial, radio broadcast network comprised of seven stations and is overseen by a volunteer board of directors including founder and Director Emeritus, Lamar Marchese.

This has been an amazing board to work with and I am excited to see what will accomplish in the coming year,” said Alexander. “This organization plays a critical role in our community by providing important news and dialogue that influences our cities, state and country. She also has vast experience in real estate and construction law, and represents public and private owners, design professionals, general contractors and manufacturers with a variety of needs, including contract negotiation, risk avoidance and allocation, analysis and preparation of construction claims, in addition to arbitration, mediation and litigation of construction disputes.
