Follow on Google News | Advocates for Children Hosts First Inaugural Jingle JogThursday, December 6, 2012 Advocates hosts the Jingle Jog at 4 p.m. along Main Street in Cartersville, GA
Sponsored by Gary Fox, CPA and McDonalds, the Jingle Jog is a 1.4 mile fun run for all ages and levels of runners. Participants are asked to dress up in their wackiest holiday gear and prizes will be awarded to our top three favorite costumes and the overall winner of the race. Each runner will also receive bells for jingling down Main Street, a long sleeved signature t-shirt and a sweet treat at the end of the race. All proceeds will benefit Advocates for Children, a non-profit organization located in Cartersville serving over 2,600 children in Northwest Georgia that have fallen victim to abuse, neglect and abandonment. Advocates mission is to strengthen our community of families by offering safety, comfort, and hope to children and preventing child abuse in all its forms. Registration for the Jingle Jog is available online at www.AdvoChild.org. Early Bird registration is $25 and will guarantee you your t-shirt size of choice. Day-of registration will be held at the Tabernacle Church back parking lot on December 6 at 4 p.m. for $30. For more information please visit www.AdvoChild.org or call 770-387-1143.
