Christmas festivites for all ages

Nov. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- At this festive time of year The Falstaff Experience, Tudor World is delighted to announce their Christmas season of activities which will be perfect for the whole family. From the 22nd of November to the 22nd of December Father Christmas and his best friend Elsie the Elf will be flying into Stratford upon Avon to share the true spirit of Christmas with you all from 5:30pm to 6:00pm. Santa will take you on a tour of the historic 16th century building for tales of Christmas past, present and future. Find out how people celebrated Christmas in Elizabethan England, how it feels to be King for a day and how Sir Francis Drake celebrated Christmas on his ship, ‘The Golden Hind’  at The Falstaff Experience, Tudor World where the Tudor Christmas is brought back to life in an interactive, fun and educational way. As Shakespeare himself said "Health, Peace, and sweet content be yours".

If family events are not your thing and you want something just for the grown ups, fear not, because ‘Dashing Jack’ has a fantastic solution for you all. On the 7th of December, 07:30pm until 09:30pm join him on his spooky adventure as he leads you through the ghostly alleyways and haunted pubs of Stratford Upon Avon where you will hear the creepy truth about the town. If you are scared of ghosts; if you’re a skeptic who wants to see what the fuss is all about or if you are simply just looking for fun and humor this will be the perfect evening for you.

If you have no plans for this Christmas Eve why not venture out to The Falstaff Experience, Tudor World for their spooky 06:00pm lantern lit ghost tour around one of Britain’s most haunted buildings where you will receive a complimentary glass of mulled wine and mince pies to really get into the festive cheer.

         If you’re not sure what to do for the New Year and fancy a change, what better way than to celebrate the New Year with the ghosts and spirits of Tudor world on their New Year’s Eve lantern lit ghost tour followed by a glass of bucks fizz to toast the arrival of 2013.

Father Christmas or Elsie the Elf tour every afternoon from Thursday 22nd November until Saturday 22nd December- 05:30pm- 06:00pm. Family ticket £13.00 Adults £5.00 Children £3.50. Haunted Pub Tour- Friday 7th December from 07:30pm- 09:30pm, must be over 18, £9.50. Christmas Eve Ghost tour with mulled wine- 6:00pm, £7.50 . New Year’s Eve Ghost tour with Bucks Fizz- 6:00pm, £7.50. Normal lantern lit ghosts tours will be operating every weekend at variable times £7.50. All details are on website.
