What On Earth is getting around (all thanks to Ocado)

Nov. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Ever wondered where on earth you can get What On Earth’s delicious, award winning organic food? Well wonder no more, for the company’s renowned products are now easily available across the UK – all at the click of a mouse.

What On Earth has recently joined forces with online retailer, Ocado, and has launched 12 of its organic products on the grocery site.  By the end of October more than 20 of What On Earth’s brightly branded products will be listed and available to buy, including the company’s much loved pizzas and cheesecakes.

Currently serving mainly London, the Home Counties and a handful of areas in the south west of England, What On Earth’s distribution area is fairly modest.  Selling products through Ocado, therefore, will allow the fun loving company to push its food further and serve a larger customer base.

Jeremy Jaffé, co-owner of What On Earth, said: “Launching our products with Ocado is a huge step for us and one we are extremely excited about.  Our business model has always been to stick with the smaller retailers and this is something we will continue to do.  But working with Ocado is an excellent way for our products to be enjoyed on a nationwide scale, not to mention a great opportunity for us to work with such a respected company.  

“So many consumers ask us where they can buy our products but if they’re not based near London it can be difficult to give them an answer.  Now we can just tell them to go on the Ocado site.  It’s great being this accessible.  What’s more we feel we are an ideal fit for Ocado as we have a very similar code of conduct.  We are an extremely ethical and environmentally friendly business and we believe in offering the utmost in customer service.”

There are currently 12 of What On Earth’s organic desserts listed on Ocado, including traditional British favourites such as crumbles, sponge puddings, cheesecakes and fools.  The company will also add organic custard to its offering.

By the end of October What On Earth’s popular organic pizzas will be added to the site.  Nine organic pizzas will be included in the range – six different 11” pizzas and three types of children’s pizzas.

Lovingly handmade with the finest ingredients, What On Earth’s delectable organic food offers the best in quality and excellence.  Each product has been individually created with care, attention and integrity in order to reach the highest of standards.  

The company’s organic pizzas are made in its London based kitchens whereas all the desserts are made in the grassy dales of Somerset – home to What On Earth’s Soil Association and BRC accredited patisserie.
