Shannon Streater Named Chief Operating Officer of Core24

Nov. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- The streets of Dallas have a new powerhouse in town.  Shannon Streater has joined Core24 as chief operating officer (COO), a new position for the company.  As a business resources organization that helps Dallas companies access exceptional business service providers, Core24 has established itself as the de-facto one-stop resource of top-tier professional service firms in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  Streater’s role will focus on growing the Core24 network and managing the day-to-day operations of the Dallas market.

Formerly CEO of DG Publishing, Inc., Streater’s depth of experience is a result of working across multiple industries including finance, corporate furnishings, consulting and publishing. Prior to assuming the role of CEO, Streater served as chief operating officer for Stagen, a management-consulting firm that specializes in helping mid-market companies scale their organizations; and as business development manager for Kimball International, the world's largest wood office furniture manufacturer.

In her professional affiliations, Streater has served as chairwoman for the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, Workforce Taskforce Committee and is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Texas. Streater has also served multiple years on the Entrepreneurs for North Texas Freedom Day Steering Committee, and founded the organization Team Networking, Inc., a premiere B2B lead-generation group based in Dallas that has six chapters, over 150 members and closed more than $200 million in business between members since its inception.
