-- Juliet C. Obodo, renown author and publisher of Writer's Retreat Los Angeles and Writer's Retreat New York City has set out to help the struggling citizens who have suffered as a result of Hurricane Sandy. During the recent weeks, she has experienced first hand the amount of damage that Sandy has caused. She was part of the storm and experienced Hurricane Sandy in it's full force. Her experience hasn't been too great, and she even had to go through the traumatic experience of watching Sandy take an elderly neighbors life.
In a bid to help the people who need it most, Obodo has announced that she will be donating 50% of all profits accumulated from her book's sales will be directly donated to the American Red Cross to assist victims of Hurricane Sandy. Thus far, she has written two travel guides - one for New York City, and the other for Los Angeles. Her book's have received great attention and she is quickly becoming known as an experienced and talented writer. However, she deeply feels for the people who have been most hurt from Sandy and she wants to make every possible effort to help people wherever possible.
