Madmen by Mary Keogh Stringer
-- An Artists Reception and Awards Presentation was held in BIG ARTS Phillips Gallery, Friday, November 2, for the “World of Fashion” exhibit, which contains a variety of media featuring images of the world of fashion and its influence on contemporary life.
BIG ARTS Phillips Gallery, located at 900 Dunlop Road, Sanibel, is open Monday through Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m. “World of Fashion” will be open through Saturday, December 1. All works are for sale.
Designer and textile artist Aida Bukovica judged the artwork in the exhibit. The exhibit’s First Place winner is Bea Pappas for Hoodie
; Second Place is Deborah Butler for Made in China
; and Third Place winner is Anita Marshall for Boys Just Wanna Have Fun.
Judge’s Merit Awards went to James Bird and Mary Keogh-Stringer. Honorable Mention was given to Susanne Brown, Stephen Bufter, Lia Galletti, and Diane Olsson.
