Local Charities Benefit from “Instant Tax Gives Back” Program

(DAYTON, OH) November 6, 2012 – A local retail tax preparation business is starting the holiday giving season early with its “Instant Tax Gives Back” program, which is expected to funnel thousands of dollars to local charities over the next six months.

The first beneficiary of Instant Tax Service’s charitable giving program is the March of Dimes Signature Chef event at Xavier University on November 8, which is honoring Dr. Elizabeth Kelly. Kelly’s work with disadvantaged women in the greater Cincinnati area has been transformative for many.  Instant Tax Service is donating $5,000 in support of the event.

The “Instant Tax Gives Back” program runs from November 1, 2012 to April 30, 2013. Donation amounts and beneficiaries are determined by Instant Tax Service’s President and CEO, Fez Ogbazion, who has a long history of community involvement in the Dayton and Cincinnati regions.

Ogbazion, who is also a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, says, “I made a personal commitment early in my business career to give back to local communities.  We’re always looking for dynamic individuals and charities we can support who also share that commitment.”

Instant Tax Service has partnered with or provided donations to many organizations throughout its 12 years of operations, including Toys for Tots and the YMCA. Its offices have also organized independent toy drives for local area children during the holidays.
