-- One man on a mission set out to build a mobile phone application which could be used to teach his children colors in their early ages. He wanted a system which would be proven and reliable, but also engage his children to begin an early learning process. The final result is iLearn colors. iLearn colors is a new and effective application which helps to begin training young children what colors are, and the names of each color. While the application only focuses on teaching colors, it has a much more important underlying meaning. The application effectively allows parents to begin their child's early life with a head start on learning.
The application currently features three major parts which have been proven to enhance children's ability to learn. The three major parts of the app are discovery, testing and playing. The application has numerous features which help to actively engage children in the learning process. Through using Flash Cards with colors and objects that relate to them, children are able to interact with them - thus helping to remember the names of each color. Additionally, the application features Quiz games, and two other games - a memory game, and a color mixing game. The idea behind the application was to create something which could be used to teach children the different colors in a gradual step-by-step process.
