-- On December 16, two Santa cruises will be sailing on beautiful Ullswater for 90 minutes, with the boat full of excited and enchanted children and equally ecstatic parents. The cruise offers families the opportunity to pull a cracker with loveable mascot Sammy the Squirrel, to have fun with the Happy Elf and laugh at his comic antics and to have the ultimate thrill of meeting Santa in his workshop.
The Ullswater ‘Steamers’
crew have also created a unique magic tree, made from completely renewable wood, from which chocolate coins for the children will hang.
Each child will receive a mini cracker to pull with Sammy or Santa, who will both be picked up after the boat has been sailing for 30 minutes, to add to the children’s excitement. All members of the family can welcome the pair aboard with a rousing cheer and make them feel truly welcome.
There is also much fun to be had taking part in the musical bell orchestra, creating tuneful tones that will echo across the stunningly beautiful lake and around the dramatic mountain landscape.
Children will be offered free squash and mince pies and will receive a craft gift bag. Adults can relax with free tea or coffee and a mince pie and tuck a 50% off travel voucher in their pocket for use in 2013.
