By: www.wall-of-weird.com We all know that science firmly states nowadays that the dinosaurs went extinct millions of years ago! This is what science textbooks teach about dinosaurs. However, young earth creationist Kent Hovind teaches otherwise. According to Dr. Kent Hovind, there may be some dinosaurs alive today. The fossil record clearly indicates that dinosaurs were well alive in the past. How far away was that past is a matter widely discussed throughout the scientific community. Dr. Kent Hovind boldly declares that dinosaurs and the humans coexisted in the past. According to Dr. Hovind, the evidence for that coexistence lies in the many legends and ancient stories depicting humans fighting dragons as well as ancient pictures and pieces of pottery describing dinosaurs shaped animals. Apparently, humans have been killing dinosaurs for centuries until almost no trace of them remained in the annals of history. However, Dr. Hovind bravely states that some historical evidence still exists. A complete overview of this piece of evidence can be found following Dr. Kent's seminars on youtube. Can there be dinosaurs alive today? According to Dr. Hovind, this is entirely possible. History Channel presents a documentary about animals called Mokele Mbembe that may be the last living dinosaurs. This documentary is available on youtube. In countries like Gabon, Congo and Cameroon, the locals interviewed stated that animals with a long tail, rounded shapes tracks with three claws and a long neck roam free within their jungles. The animals matching this description best are the long extinct race of sauropod dinosaurs. When you ask the local people of the Likouala region to draw a representation of Mokele Mbembe, they draw the shape of a sauropod dinosaur. If you show those same people pictures featuring sauropod dinosaurs, they will tell you that those animals are the Mokele Mbembe. The meaning of the word Mokele Mbembe is "one that stops the flow of rivers". The locals have reported that the Mokele Mbembe does not appreciate hippopotamuses and kills them on sight. Thus, hippopotamuses cannot be found in the area where Mokele-Mbembe lives. The locals also reported that Mokele-mbembe will overturn boats and kill the people from the boats by biting them and hitting them with its tail. However, the interesting fact is that the animal never eats the people it kills. In fact, the diet of these dinosaurs seems to be made up of plants only. Thus, the Mokele Mbembe is considered to be a herbivore. More similar articles at www.wall-of- End
