The Prevelly, A WA Housing Centre Design, Wins HIA's 2012 Best Display Home
The Prevelly by WA Housing Centre, leading home builders in Perth, has won the 2012 Best Display Home award by the Perth Housing Industry Association beating out all other display homes in Perth in the $170,000-$190,000 range for the honour.
"It's a great honour to have The Prevelly recognised by the HIA. At WA Housing Centre we are committed to offering attractive homes at affordable prices that meet the needs of today's families. We do this by focusing on what we call zones in each home. Each zone has a different area of focus whether that is a master suite, an area for children to do their school work or a place for the family to entertain. With this method we're able to design homes that meet the needs of every family. There is space for work, for play and for rest," explained Clayton Halloran, WA Housing Centre Brand Manager (http://www.wahousingcentre.com.au/
WA Housing Centre, leading home builders in Perth, designed The Prevelly with the modern family in mind. The Prevelly is one of the Centre's newest designs, featuring contemporary styling and modern living. The exterior welcomes visitors with a wide porch that leads into a home suitable for families of all sizes, stages and lifestyles.
Like all of the homes designed by WA Housing Centre, the interior of The Prevelly has been carefully thought out and organised. At the front of the house is the master suite with a walk-in robe and private ensuite, reading nook and full height window. Towards the rear of the house, three bedrooms, a bath and a web zone make up the children's zone. In between the two bedroom zones, there is plenty of room for families to get together. While the kitchen serves as the heart of the home, an alfresco area located just off the kitchen brings the outside in and adds to entertaining space. A sliding door provides access to this area from both the kitchen and the dining area.
"The Prevelly is a perfect example of form meeting function. We think today's homebuyers will love it as much as the HIA does, " said Halloran.
The Perth Housing Industry Association (HIA) offers a variety of awards and recognitions. Builders and developers receive recognition for both their design work and their professionalism. Awards may be bestowed for outstanding workmanship, design and innovation in home design but also for the professionalism the company and its employees display both on and off the worksite.
