Realty Executives Hosts Charitable Event
Realty Executives of Illinois continues annual fundraising tradition.        

10/24/2012 -- Realty Executives of Illinois regional office in Westmont is making a contribution to the community by supporting Make A Wish Foundation Illinois Chapter.

Realty Executives of Illinois, Executive Council hosted "BOO~ling For Wishes" on Wednesday October 24.  There were over 70 Halloween costumed guests in attendance for Cosmic Bowling, raffles, and a live auction at the Brunswick Zone.

"All of us at Realty Executives believe that it is important for us to give back," Bruce Vinnick, Realty Executives of Illinois.  "We always encourage positive efforts in our local community. This charity event is just us doing our part”.  The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich their lives with hope, strength and joy.

This year Realty Executives had a special guest attend their event; an incredibly energetic boy named Michael.  "Every year we are blessed to meet a Wish Child recipient.  This year was no exception.  Michael and his father Bruce brought us all to tears when they shared their story on how their Wish Trip was not only amazing, but also brought them inspiration to live each and every day to its fullest." says Vinnick.

There were plenty of valuable items to bid on such as great seats to see the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Cubs and a four night stay in Coast Rica. “At this year’s event we raised just over $7,000” said Lesle Koepp, Realty Executives.  Realty Executives of Illinois has donated over $220,000 to Make A Wish over the past 10+ years.
