Nov. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Grab & Go Sub’s Commences San Diego Expansion with Three New Locations

San Diego, CA, November 1st, 2012 – Grab & Go Subs, San Diego’s choice for authentic Italian Sandwiches, announced today the launch of an aggressive expansion throughout San Diego County, starting with the opening of its newest location at 4488 Convoy St. with two additional locations at 9862 Mission Gorge Rd. and 1591 N Magnolia Ave. to open before years end.

Grab & Go Subs has been family owned and operated since 1973 and is celebrating its 40-year anniversary by expanding its operations and bringing their authentic Italian Subs, Salads, Pizza’s and Deserts to more San Diegans.  The 2012 expansion will generate 45 new jobs in San Diego County and increase the business that Grab & Go Subs is already doing with other locally based companies such as Monterey Provisions and Hughes Marino.  Cesar Pantoja, Expansion Director, had this to say regarding the company’s growth:

“Our decision to expand came in response to demand from our customers who have been encouraging us to open additional stores throughout San Diego for quite some time now.  However, we wanted to make sure we wouldn’t compromise the very foundation that sets us apart from other quick-serve sandwich shops.  Grab & Go Subs was founded 40 years ago by my late father, Vincenzo "Mimmo" Gaglio, and is the product of a lifetime of baking and restaurant experience.  The fresh taste and Italian authenticity of Grab & Go is rooted in Mimmo’s story and we want to stay true to that as we continue to grow.  No matter how many stores we open across the county, our old-style, flavorful bread will always be made fresh every morning, right here at our bakery in San Diego and we will never sacrifice taste or authenticity by using ingredients that my father wouldn’t be proud to serve his customers.”

The opening of these three new locations will bring Grab & Go Subs to a total of 10 storefronts in San Diego County.  It is the company’s goal to open 30 more locations, as far north as Temecula before entering the Orange County and Los Angeles markets.  Despite this rapid growth plan, Grab & Go Subs will avoid franchising and remain family owned and operated in order to maintain the same level of quality that has made it a San Diego favorite since 1973.

In addition to the expansion, Grab & Go subs has also launched a new website, new customer reward programs, new menu items, and increased its catering services.

“We want to continue providing San Diego with delicious, fresh, and authentic subs, pizzas and salads while staying true to the family values and community appeal on which we were founded.  We are very excited to be opening these new locations and will be honored to serve more San Diegans on a daily basis.”

All three locations are now hiring so visit their website, to apply.  Grab & Go Subs is also committed to supporting the San Diego community and is eager to be involved and support worthy causes year round.  Email for charitable donations and sponsorships.
