Gentle Souls Shoes- NY shoe designer finds home in a No. California shoe store “Pop-Up Shop"

Oct. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Shoes on Solano, a Berkeley shoe shop (http://www.shoestoreberkeley.com/) with locations at both 1770 and 1774 Solano Ave. offering fashion comfort women's footwear (http://www.shoestoreberkeley.com/) and kids' shoes (http://www.shoestoreberkeley.com/), is presenting the Fall-Winter 2012 Gentle Souls Shoe Collection at their Fall Trunk Show on Friday, November 2nd. This Trunk Show will also launch the in-store “Pop-Up Shop”, which the buyers have named a “Shop-In-Shop”.

“We have offered the Gentle Souls Shoe collection for many years, but this year we’re offering a new larger selection of styles in the new “Shop-In-Shop” format,” Carol Fabretti of Shoes on Solano said. “Shoes On Solano began selling Gentle Souls shoes when we discovered their factory making high quality shoes in the Bronx. We really connected with the designer.”  The store buyers were so impressed with the product, they started bringing it in to their Northern California stores immediately to a successful, positive response from customers.

The Gentle Souls brand was bought by Kenneth Cole 4 years ago and has grown tremendously since then.  The collection is sold in footwear specialty stores, such as Shoes On Solano in Berkeley.

The Shoes On Solano and Gentle Souls trunk show kicks off at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 2, at the 1774 Solano Avenue location, with a raffle, product video and the opening of the Shop-In-Shop. Throughout the day, shoppers can meet the Gentle Souls company representative, enjoy refreshments and see the latest styles.
