New Bridgeport Barnes & Noble Announces Opening Week Events
Bridgeport Village, Portland’s premier shopping and dining destination, announced today that the new Barnes & Noble store will host several events during the store’s opening weekend November 16-18, 2012.
Barnes & Noble will host a book fair to benefit the Tualatin Library Foundation (TLF) with a portion of the proceeds from the opening weekend (November 16-23, 2012) being donated to the TLF. Guests just need to mention the TLF when making purchases and a portion of the sales will be counted toward the TLF. Guests can also pick up more information at the Bridgeport Village guest services kiosk.
In addition to the book fair, on opening weekend Barnes & Noble will host in-store activities provided by the TLF, such as children’s book readings, live radio broadcast from KINK FM from 12-2pm, performances by Mask & Mirror Community Theater and a special book signing by local celebrity, Amy Roloff. Roloff is the author of a new cookbook, Short and Simple Family Recipes, and will be available to sign cookbooks on Saturday November 17th from 12-3pm.
