Follow on Google News | Annual Boston Celtics Experience Enables Exceptional ChildrenThis November 17, the annual Boston Celtics Experience brings 24 special needs children and teens from Massachusetts’ Ultimate Sports Program to Boston's TD Garden. World T.E.A.M. Sports and the Celtics sponsor the special halftime basketball game.
“There are a number of kids who are experiencing this for the first time and they are very excited about the opportunity to be ‘part’ of something so big,” said Ultimate Sports Program’s Program Director, Steve Berube. “About half of the kids participating on the floor have some sort of special need.” Teaming with the Boston Celtics and the Ultimate Sports Program to support the sixth annual USP Boston Celtics Experience, World T.E.A.M. Sports is providing jerseys for the 24 children playing in a special halftime contest before the Saturday afternoon audience for the National Basketball Association’ "World T.E.A.M. Sports is proud to support USPkids,” said World T.E.A.M.’s CEO and President, Paul Tyler. “We completely support their mission to get kids with disabilities involved in sports as if they had no disabilities.
