Eagle Creek Sees Nearly Full Participation At Semi-Annual Service Day

Oct. 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Eagle Creek partnered with Buena Vista Audubon Society  (http://www.bvaudubon.org/) on October 25, 2012 for their latest semi-annual Service Day.  They are very pleased to announce 83% participation in the event.  

Focusing on trail and garden maintenance in the Carlsbad Coastal area, Eagle Creek teams hacked, cut, cleared and mulched their way through the Buena Vista Nature Center’s surrounding property.  In addition to volunteering their time and sweat, Eagle Creek employees also donated tools for the continued maintenance of the area.

Buena Vista Audubon Society was selected as the beneficiary of the Eagle Creek Service Day for their commitment to the local flora and fauna.  The are also known for educating both youth and adults about the importance of supporting native plants in local environments and often host garden workshops and bird watching activities.
