Blast from the past, 7 Artists, 2 DJs, One BIG NIGHT OUT!

Oct. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Sundance Events, Dubai’s leading entertainment agency, reveals an extraordinary artist line up for the launch of its first MiX TAPE Rewind concert. Scheduled to take place on Friday 16th November 2012, at the iconic Emirates Golf Club, MiX TAPE Rewind brings together some on the 1990s favourite performers including Haddway, Culture Beat, Snap, La Bouche, No Mercy, Go West and Jenny Berggren from Ace of Base fame, for an unforgettable one night ONLY performance.

The chart-topping artists will bring a mix of euro-dance, pop, funk, house and hip hop to MiX TAPE Rewind with a repertoire of all of their famous Billboard hits including  "All That She Wants" by Ace of Base “What is Love” by Haddaway, “Power” by Snap, “Mr. Vain” by Culture Beat, "Where Do You Go" by No Mercy,  "Sweet Dreams" by La Bouche and "King of Wishful Thinking" and "Faithful" by Go West.  Fans can expect a night of dance and funk as the artists take stage one after another to bring back the best of the 1990s music.

The '90s were a great time for pop culture and music and unlike any other concert; MiX TAPE Rewind is a nostalgic event inviting revelers to an evening of every thing from the past decade including fashion. Wearing an odd pair of colourful leggings over Bermuda shorts; short sleeves over long sleeves t-shirt or even the most comfortable wide-leg pants, a hoodie around the waist, flipped baseball cap, and you are good to go. Fashion was all about experimenting back then and organizers are urging fans to let loose and bring back their favourite 90s style to the concert. Fashion marshals will be scouting and awarding best-dressed fans throughout the night.

MiX TAPE Rewind LIVE takes place on Friday 16th November 2012 at Emirates Golf Club, Sheikh Zayed Road. Concert starts at 8pm however doors will open 5pm with DJ performances and activities including Live radio broadcast by Channel 4 Network, the official radio station, as well as concert photo booth by Light House Studio.
