Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Jeffrey W. Shields has joined the bankruptcy and reorganization practice group as a partner in the firm’s Salt Lake City office. Mr. Shields is the third experienced bankruptcy attorney to join the firm since May as the firm’s bankruptcy group continues to expand in the Salt Lake City office. Troy Aramburu, partner, joined the firm in May and Brock Worthen, associate, joined the firm in August.

Mr. Shields’ practice is concentrated in bankruptcy, commercial litigation in bankruptcy-related matters, reorganizations, commercial lending, and banking and. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, he was the practice group leader of the bankruptcy/creditors’
rights practice group for Jones Waldo. He was also vice president and assistant general counsel for Key Bank of Utah from 1986-1989. He earned his J.D. from Pepperdine University and his B.A. from the University of Utah.
