To Celebrate Distance Learning Week, Ashworth College Offers Free Associate Degree Semester
In recognition of online learning and 2012 National Distance Learning Week (November 5-9, 2012), first time students can receive their fourth semester free when enrolling in any of Ashworth College's online associate degree programs.
Sponsored by the United States Distance Learning Association, National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) promotes and celebrates the growth and accomplishments of distance learning programs.
Available only to high school graduates who are starting their college careers, new students can enroll in any of school’s 15 online associate degree programs. An Ashworth (http://www.ashworthcollege.edu/)
"National Distance Learning Week is a great way to recognize the 6.1 million U.S. students who have pursued some or all of their education online and the institutions that are educating them," says Rob Klapper, President of Ashworth College, citing a 2011 Babson Research Group study.
“In addition to providing students with a quality online education, this promotion will save students as much as $1,250 dollars off the program’s total price.” Klapper also explained that Ashworth doesn’t charge for course materials, making an Ashworth College Associate Degree (http://www.ashworthcollege.edu/
