PAZZA BISTRO LAUNCHES IN TAMPA BAY
Bringing Fresh Casual Italian Cuisine and Community Culture to Pinellas Park

A new fresh casual Italian eatery as come to the Bay Area. Pazza Bistro is now open and brings fresh, casual, Italian food to the heart of Tampa Bay.  In the hub of Pinellas Park, on the corner of US Hwy 19 and Park Blvd, Pazza Bistro offers house-made pasta, brick-oven pizza and fresh salads.

Pazza Bistro focuses on fresh, delicious food at a great price. Guests choose from several house-made pastas (including whole wheat) or two dry pastas (including a gluten-free option) and more than a dozen original red and white sauces ranging from classic tomato and basil to signature sautéed shrimp in a lobster cream sauce. Guests also select from more than 30 extra pizza and salad toppings from pineapple and red roasted peppers to goat cheese, shrimp and prosciutto.  All of the sauces are made on-site, as is the hand-tossed, thin crust pizza dough. Guests can even grab a seat at the open kitchen and watch the chefs cook their pasta or fire up their pizza in a brick oven.

Formerly found near University of Florida in Gainesville, the owners wanted to bring their unique, amazingly contemporary Italian style into this family-friendly environment.  “Our new location in the St. Petersburg/Pinellas Park Area is the perfect spot for an evening of fun.  We are located directly next to the Regal Park Cinema, so the restaurant is the ideal venue for ‘date night’ or ‘family movie night.’ We are a magical fit for The Shoppes at Park Place,” explains Marc Perotti, Co-owner and Managing Partner.

Culinary adventurers will enjoy Pazza Bistro’s insanely popular “Inferno Pizza Challenge.”  This is not a run-of-the-mill food contest. Challengers get 20 minutes and only one cup of water to entirely consume a 12-inch pie dubbed the “hottest pizza in The Universe.”  At the former Gainesville location, more than 500 daring customers attempted to conquer the fiery feat.  Less than 5 percent succeeded. Winners of the Challenge receive a free T-shirt, free soda for life, and 10 percent off their food, when they wear their T-shirt.  Most importantly, winners get their pictures featured on “The Wall of Flame” and bragging rights.

Pazza Bistro is also extremely customer-focused and offers exciting VIP rewards and Kids Club rewards programs. Under the VIP rewards program, guests earn points for each dollar they spend that can be redeemed for free food and drinks as well as gift certificates. Kids Club members earn points for each visit, which are redeemable for great prizes such as games or movie passes.

Supporting the community is a major goal of the owners. “We take supporting our community on a grass roots scale very seriously. Our goal is not only to be known as a great restaurant chain but also as a great community supporter,” says Vanessa Manings, Co-owner and Marketing and Community Relations Director.

Benefit nights, fundraisers, and projects to support local organizations are all part of Pazza Bistro’s culture. The restaurant holds “Chef for a Day” pizza making and cooking classes for kids as a fun activity and way to learn what it’s like to work in a restaurant environment.

In the face of today’s busy schedules and time pressures, Pazza Bistro offers a quick yet fresh and healthy alternative to typical fast food options.  With an impressive catering menu, Pazza Bistro provides the sublime group lunch at the office or at home with friends.

Pazza Bistro, 7210 US Highway 19 North, is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. In addition to dine-in, delivery and take-out, Pazza Bistro offers catering and hosting for private events. For a full menu, please see pazzabistro.com.
