HPNG Entrepreneurs Hosts CEO of Taina Cafe & Manager of Soho House NY

Oct. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- New York, N.Y., October 26, 2010 – HPNG Entrepreneurs announces its speakers for its October 30th networking event in New York.

HPNG Entrepreneurs continues its hit networking event series this month with restaurateurs Ms. Johanna Mendoza, Chief Executive Officer of Taina Café and Mr. O'Neiell Espinal, House Manager of Soho House New York.

Johanna Mendoza opened Taina Café in December 2011 after working on pharmaceutical trials for the drugs Eylea and Macugen. Ms. Mendoza’s goal was to provide food that represented her ancestral culture and Taina Cafe achieves this representation of her roots, culture and diversity. Ms. Mendoza holds a BS in Psychology and has a passion for interior and floral design, which is reflected in the cafe’s interior decor.

Mr. O’neiell Espinal, currently the House Manager for Soho House New York, began his career working as a front desk clerk in the resorts nestled in the beautiful Dominican Republic. From Punta Cana to Samana and college in between, his journey has taken him from the schools in Chile, hotels in Argentina, tourism in Italy, Cuba, California, Miami and now New York.

Moving laterally but with a vision upward, this process has helped him develop a well-rounded view of taking care of people. “To be a good general, you need to be a very good soldier,” Espinal says. “I did a lot of lateral movement, so I was able to experience every aspect of the hotel industry.”
