Van Hire Excess Insurance from Questor Insurance now available via jml Insurance websites

Oct. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Questor insurance recently decided to launch the Van Hire Excess Insurance product alongside their car hire and motorhome hire excess products  as many of their clients rent vans from time to time.

As with Questor Insurance’s great car hire excess insurance this product insures the excess on the van hire rental agreement up to £3,000 and includes cover for the tyres, windscreen and underbody.

It has been designed specifically for rentals up to 14 days however, this product is not intended for tradesman renting a replacement van.

It is designed for the UK market only and covers clients permanently resident in the UK renting a van up to 3.5 metric tonnes for use in the UK only. Drivers must be aged between 24 and 64.

The van hire excess insurance policy is Underwritten by White Horse Insurance (Ireland) Limited through a facility operated and managed by Strategic Insurance Services Limited for Questor Insurance Services Ltd.

There are numerous reasons why people rent a van for a day or two, or even up to a couple of weeks. With a very active property rental market and a large proportion of those properties now being let unfurnished has meant people have to move their furniture from one location to another. For most people the cost of using a removal company will be too expensive so the easier and more cost effective option to hire a van.
