The Boston Home Show Sets Anchor Back in South Boston! Formerly The Bayside Expo Center, Now Cruiseport Boston January 26th- 27th, 2013 The Boston Home Show, formerly located at the Bayside Expo Center for over 30 years, is now moving back to South Boston at Cruiseport Boston (1 Black Falcon Ave, Boston next door to the Boston Design Center and near the Bank of America pavilion) January 26th & 27th, 2013. It is a well-known event where homeowners can take in ideas, shop for products, and hire services for the improvement of their home. Attendees can comparison shop without any of the pressures or inconveniences of travelling from location to location. This new venue is the perfect spot for catching up on the latest trends, centered in the heart of the city’s “Seaport Innovation District” and right next door to the Boston Design Center. As an added attraction to the Boston Home Show, the Boston Design Center will be hosting their very popular “Red Tag Sale” on the same weekend, allowing attendees complimentary access to the Sale with their Boston Home Show ticket. The BDC's Red Tag Sale offers consumers an extraordinary opportunity to shop the world-class home furnishings showrooms at the Boston Design Center, normally accessible to the design trade only. The sale will feature thousands of high-end floor samples including furniture, fabric, rugs, lighting, art and accessories, all available at 30-60% off showroom list prices and ready to take home. “The BDC's Red Tag Sale takes the traditional sample sale to a whole new level as only the BDC can. This is a great opportunity to shop the latest in home designs typically only available through designers,” The Boston Home Show will continue to host it’s FREE lecture and demonstration series on the show floor, and will be putting together a “Taste of Boston” inviting area restaurants and beverage companies to sell their top dishes, host cooking demonstrations, and provide samples of food and beverages to attendees of the event. The show will bring homeowners out of the cold and into a flurry of ideas, shopping, and refreshments. The Boston Home Show has been fortunate to have relationships with sponsors like Xfinity, Better Homes & Gardens, Verizon, Kitchen Magic, and Renewal by Andersen, Champion Windows, MBTA, IBEW Local 103, and several other well respected companies in the past. This year The Boston Home Show encourages attendees to check out its new home (and neighbors!) while meeting with the experts to make their dreams for their home a reality!
