President Obama Provides Award to Attorney & Legal Strategist Jeffery M. Leving

Oct. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Fathers’ rights pioneer and Chicago-based leading Attorney Jeffery M. Leving will receive the National Lifetime Volunteer Call to Service Award for his commitment as a volunteer for The Fathers & Family Coalition of America (FFCA) on November 2, 2012. This award is presented on behalf of the FFCA and the President’s Volunteer Service Awards Points of Light Foundation at the University of Southern California.

The National Lifetime Volunteer Call to Service Award, which President Obama is providing through the Points of Light Foundation, is an esteemed honor as only a few have been presented. James C. Rodriguez, Chief Executive Officer and President of the FFCA is delighted to present this distinctive award to Leving.

“It is a great honor to bestow this award after years of contributions to make children a priority, a light for many fathers and giving strength and encouragement to organizations and peers to reduce the impacts of father absenteeism”, wrote Rodriguez.

The Fathers and Families Coalition of America, Inc. works to provide the top national services for those who work with fathers and families. By encouraging a positive connection between fathers and families, the FFCA hopes to improve the lives of those involved, especially the children. Leving volunteers to support their mission for responsible fatherhood.

“You are an outstanding professional, mentor and community leader that has demonstrated the model of a servant leader as an advocate to improve the lives of others”, wrote Rodriguez.

Leving is honored to receive an award for his dedication to paternal involvement.

Leving is also the Chairman of the Illinois Council on Responsible Fatherhood, President Emeritus of the Fatherhood Educational Institute and author. Leving’s latest book How to be a Good Divorced Dad: Being the Best Parent You Can Be Before, During and After the Break-Up (Jossey-Bass 2012) was endorsed by Francis Cardinal George of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
