-- ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri–St. Louis School of Professional & Continuing Studies announces the 2013 Winter Intersession for January 7-19. UMSL gives students the opportunity to earn three credit hours in two weeks to help them reach their educational goals faster.
Any student wishing to lighten their spring course load, get on a faster track to graduation, and improve their skills, may take advantage of the Winter Intersession at UMSL. Pre-registration for currently enrolled UMSL undergraduate and graduate students begins November 5, 2012, and is conducted by appointment only. Currently enrolled UMSL students can register for Winter Intersession courses when registering for spring courses. Regular registration for those not currently an UMSL student begins November 19, 2012. New degree-seeking, visiting, non-degree seeking, and returning UMSL students must apply and be admitted to UMSL before registering for classes. The deadline for Winter Intersession registration is January 2, 2012.
Students enrolled in Winter Intersession courses are eligible to participate in the UMSL Metro Pass program. The cost for a Metro Pass is included in student fees, and no additional charges will be assessed to students.
