Originally started in Melbourne, Australia, Movember has ‘grown’ to epic proportions. In 2011, over 854,000 men around the world participated, raising $125.7 million CAD. Making a difference is what it is all about”. The “Armour Lip Charmours” raised over $3600 in 2011 and hope to increase that amount in 2012. With the help of a determined 8-year-old boy, they hope to achieve their goal. The team will be holding a ‘Kick Off to Movember’ event at the Armour offices in Barrie on November 1st, 2012 at 10:00am. Members of the press are welcome.
