Cirro Energy, a subsidiary of Dominion Resources, will help turn the Dallas Zoo’s Halloween Nights into a wild animal adventure on October 25, 26, 27, and 28. For four nights only, furry, feathered and scaly stars, along with their human supporting actors will take the Spooky Cirro Energy stage for the “Animal Adventures” show.
“Cirro Energy and the Dallas Zoo have teamed up to create a not-so-scary evening featuring the Animal Adventures show,” said Cindi Wakefield, spokesperson for Cirro Energy. “The entire family will be amazed by the live performances on our Spooky Cirro Energy Stage.”
Evening admission is $10 per person for everyone age 3 and older, which includes most entertainment and six coupons for the candy stations. Kids are encouraged to dress in costumes and catch the show. Afterward, they can trick-or-treat around Zoo, see the haunted pumpkin patch, roast s’mores and take a backward spin on the Haunted Carousel.
“The Zoo’s ambiance will be magical with stilt walkers, sky ghosts and other costumed characters,”
said Wakefield. “Visitors can snap a picture of their kids in the Pumpkin Patch, watch a magic show and search for creepy, crawly critters in the Herpetarium and Bug U.”
The Dallas Zoo is the largest zoological experience in Texas with 106 acres of developed land. It is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos & Aquariums. The Zoo is located at 650 S. R.L. Thornton Freeway. DZS members receive a $2 discount off admission. The Haunted Carousel is $2 per ride. S’mores are $3 each and camel rides are $5 per person.
