Oct. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Cincinnati, OH – Chad Sowash, a leading authority on online recruiting and marketing, has joined the military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary as chief experience officer. He will head the company’s Marketing, Information Technology, Customer Care, and Advertising Agency Relations teams. He was vice president of business development for DirectEmployers Association (DEA), a non-profit consortium of employers. He spearheaded the development of the first complete National Labor Exchange in the United States. He also led the organization’s multi-layer digital strategies, including social media, search engine optimization, talent communities, and next generation mobile. Sowash started his online experience with Online Career Center, which became Monster.com in 1999.

Sowash served in the United States Army and the Army Reserve for more than 20 years. He was an infantry drill sergeant, and is a combat veteran. He received the Order of Saint Maurice from the National Infantry Association for conspicuous contribution to the infantry.

“We are delighted to bring Chad aboard,” said Drew Myers, president of RecruitMilitary and a former captain in the United States Marine Corps. “He is arriving at a perfect time, because his skills, experiences, and interests are a great match for a number of campaigns we are undertaking. Chad will play a key role as we redesign our online presence for greater consistency and clearer messaging, take on new functions to advance our mission of improving the lives of veterans beyond pure employment assistance, supplement our content for the social media, and restructure our text and graphics for optimal delivery via the complete spectrum of Internet access devices – desktops, laptops, notebooks, tablets, smartphones, and whatever comes next.”

“I was truly honored to accept a key leadership role in such an amazing organization focused on something so near and dear to my heart,” said Sowash, “finding meaningful employment for veterans while helping organizations across the nation realize this amazing and untapped pool of talent. I look forward to working with the dedicated RecruitMilitary team to bring new and innovative products, services, content, and a new RecruitMilitary Experience to the market.”
