Noosta, the social network dedicated to citizen journalism

We are pleased to announce you Noosta, "the" social network based on a "mobile-centric" ecosystem dedicated exclusively to participatory journalism, to share and spread news in real time by worldwide citizens. Noosta: be a voice, not an echo.
Oct. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Noosta is a social network based on active participatory journalism, dedicated exclusively to information and news shared and spread in real time by worldwide citizens.

Noosta is a free and open tool for the public and journalists alike, created with the goal of expanding and improving the horizons of communication, while providing an innovative new source of information for large international networks.

Noosta is a digital hub where any “newster” is an active player of the newsmaking process, uploading, directly from its mobile, texts, images, audio or video, from local news to international events of public interest, organizing the contents by type (news, sports, culture, politics, traffic, weather, etc.), time and location.

Noosta’s main features:

-        "mobile-centric" ecosystem

-        geo-localized information which, based on user preferences, Noosta instantly reaches mobile’s user with relevant news rather than vice-versa

-        innovative technology platform designed on news-rewarding criteria, taking care of source’s reliability

A further new network is born to transform the world of information, exploiting the full potential of social networks and boosting the mobile-device technology.

Noosta is announced on-line on spring 2013.

If you are tempted, the next appointment is scheduled on 12/12/12 at

Noosta: be a voice, not an echo.
