Dr. Margaret Altman Serving Treasure Coast Seniors At New WellMed Clinic

Leading the clinic is Dr. Margaret Altman, a Kentucky native who earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where she also conducted her residency. Prior to arriving in Florida three years ago, Dr. Altman served as After Hours Clinic Director at Jewish Hospital and St. Mary’s Healthcare in Louisville, and as a staff physician at Ireland Army Community Hospital at Fort Knox.

Dr. Altman and her staff will utilize the nationally recognized WellMed Care Model, focusing on preventive medicine to help patients manage chronic disease and improve health outcomes.
