Paint for the Cure: A Breast Cancer Awareness Event

Oct. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Members of Key Rouge Agency and some of the most talented artists in and around the Baton Rouge area team up with the Susan G. Komen Foundation to hold a Breast Cancer Awareness and Charity Event. Hosted by Miss Black Louisiana Ashley Hebert and Ally Bea of KLSU, Paint for the Cure will be help this Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 600 Main Street Baton Rouge, LA 70801 from 4pm to 8pm.

In effort to join the fight against breast cancer Key Rouge's mission is to promote awareness and provide valuable information to help better understand this life threatening illness while providing the opportunity to raise funds to help aid the search for a cure.

The event will include a live auction of one of a kind canvas paintings created by talented artists during the event.  Art students of McKinley Senior High and Southern Laboratory School have generously donated paintings to be auctioned as well. In addition, there will be a live body art exhibit which will include Darian Ellis of America's Next Top Model and live music entertainment will be provided by the LAH Live and Speak [easy] bands.  Food sponsors include: Curbside, Bon Repas, Wood Fired Pizza, Three Bones, and Ninja Show. Additional sponsors joining to help raise funds for the cure include:  Jess' Bra Closet, Vanessa's Salon and Hair Treatment Center, The Addiction Studios, Tryst Girl Studio, Chef Ashley Jonique, Cody Coyote Films, and Brian Baiamonte, LLC of Radio Bar.
