HAN was founded in 2011 by former National Olympic Weightlifter Joe Nissim.   After his career was cut short due to a wrist injury, Nissim founded HAN on the basis of of providing real supplements for real Strength athletes.  Shortly after the company was founded, Highland Game Pro Sam Grammer came on board and pioneered the research of ‘Heavy Athletes’.
