Barcelona Acupuncture Clinic: New Name, Same Centre

Oct. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Former London acupuncturist & Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner Ruth Westnidge (BSc Hons, OMBAcC, OMRCHM) practices in Barcelona’s Carrer Muntaner with appointments available all week round. The service stayed open during the summer and followed those busy months up with a period of renovations and improvements within the host centre, formerly called ‘Arge’. The final change came with the name change to ‘Studio Kinetic’ in September. The acupuncture room had a makeover, to match the changes made elsewhere in the building. Studio Kinetic offers the same acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and cosmetic facial acupuncture as under the ‘Arge’ management. There is also osteopathy, physiotherapy, personal training & new services including more pilates classes; psychomotor therapy; and kinesiology.  The centre is located within a minutes walk from the ferrocarriles station at Muntaner.

Ruth Westnidge (BSc Hons, OMBAcC, OMRCHM) qualified in ear acupuncture in 1998, working for many years in London before further training with the University of Middlesex’s four year BSc in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She also completed studies at the London College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (LCTA), the Yuan Traditional Medicine College, the London College of Chinese Medicine and Westminster University, plus a period at the First Red Cross Hospital, Kunming, China.  Since opening her Barcelona acupuncture clinic her services have been well received by both English and Spanish speaking clients.
