October 19, 2012

In just months, Rob Jones; a singer, producer, songwriter, and philanthropist has proven that hard work, dedication, and sacrifice are key components in achieving goals. This is not a case of overnight success; Rob Jones was first discovered on Oprah Winfrey. At just 10 years old Robert Jones was struck in the face by a bullet. This tragedy left him visually impaired, Robert did not let this stop him from living a normal life. For many years Oprah followed Robert along his journey, he was one of the few guest that were featured on the show three times, and was also listed as one of Oprah's 10 most memorable guest in the O magazine.

Robert has since finished college graduating top of his class and is now an extraordinary musician. Throughout his musical journey the realization of his dreams represents more than just the completion of his main life goal to be the next Grammy Award Winning Singer, Songwriter and Producer.

He has performed opening sets for recording artist such as Jaheim, Mario, and Malik Yusef Jones. He has also mentioned collaborating with Lady Gaga, Will- I-AM, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and everyone else that wants to make history.

Robert Jones is currently working on projects with Slim of the R&B group 112, he also produced “MollyGurl” for Def Jam recording artist “Lil Durk.” It was mentioned by top Chicago Hip Hop Blog founder Andrew Barber that the song was a standout on the "Life Aint No Joke" Mixtape.
