WrestleCade Fundraising Event ‘Sells Out’, Additional Seats Added

Oct. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- There is bad news and good news for those of you who hoped to attend the inagrual WrestleCade event but don't have tickets yet.

The bad news? The initial offering of tickets at Eventbright sold out this past weekend.
The good news? More seats have become available.

Overwhelming demand for the ‘family friendly wrestling event’ taking place in Winston Salem, NC at the Benton Convention Center on November 25, saw the event sell out in a matter of weeks.

To cope with overwhelming demand for this event, the organizers have recently announced the opening of additional seating and they are sure to sell quickly.

Tracy Myers, Founder of WrestleCade, sees the demand for tickets as a reward for hard work in delivering a quality family friendly event: “Back when I was a kid, my dad always took my brother and I to see the great stars of the NWA and WCW on Thanksgiving. It was one of my favorite memories. With WrestleCade, we wanted to bring a family friendly wrestling event back to Winston Salem and the Triad. We want to help families create new memories.

On the card that night is former WWE, TNA and ECW World Champion Matt Hardy battling former TNA TV Champion, Gunner in a 30-minute iron man match with Reality TV Star Jonny Fairplay being the Special Guest Ring Announcer/Time Keeper.

Another exciting addition to WrestleCade is the Legends Of Starrcade match featuring “Raging Bull” Manny Fernandez and “Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant versus Masked Superstar and “Mr. #1” George South with "The Perfect 10" Baby Doll. WrestleCade will also feature the reunion of The Rock n Roll Express, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson versus "The Russian Bear" Ivan Kollof with the Masked Russian Assasins.

Other matches featuring legends and multiple past champions from the WWE, WCW, TNA, ROH, ECW and NWA like Hurricane Shane Helms, CW Anderson, Colt Cabana, Demolition Ax, Lodi, Bo Dupp, Reby Sky, Jayme Jameson, The Barbarian, Shelly Martinez (formerly Ariel in WWE/ECW), Amber O’ Neal, The Bravado Brothers, “Beasmaster” Rick Link, Lei D Tapa, Tommy Young, Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander

WrestleCade 2012 is a “family friendly event” and it is also a fundraiser for Christmas Toy Drive. Christmas Toy Drive partners with The Salvation Army to provide toys to less fortunate boys and girls during the Christmas season. In 2011, over 2,000 toys were collected and the goal for 2012 is to double, triple or quadruple this number. The goal of the WrestleCade organizers is to have a successful event that will help that number be reached.
