AroundthePlate.org to Offer Unique Healthy Eating Basics Workshop Online

In an effort to challenge current eating practices held by most Americans, AroundthePlate.org is offering an online six week workshop that will allow participants to explore their current eating habits and effectively change them for improved health.

Oct. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- AroundthePlate.org announced last week that they will now be offering a variety of online classes that will focus on a variety of nutrition-related topics.

On October 24th, 2012, AroundthePlate.org will be offering its first class online with its launch of a six week Healthy Eating Basics workshop led by nationally-known registered dietitian and founder of the website, Kati Mora, MS, RD.

"We're really excited to be taking our nutrition education to the next level," Kati Mora, MS, RD said. "Its a great way for our readers to better connect with us and go through the process of dietary change. Although our articles are a great starting point, these classes will allow us to go more in depth and challenge participants to improve the way they eat one day at a time."

Classes are set to meet weekly and will cover a variety of topics including: basic meal planning, healthy eating on the go, and navigating grocery stores and college dining halls.

In-person classes will also be offered at thePlate Boutique in Mt. Pleasant, MI, the storefront of the site.
