Twin Cities’ Newest Birthday Party Option For Kids 3 to 6

Oct. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Parents looking for a new way to celebrate their little rock star’s birthday will love the School of Rock’s Little Wing Experience | Rockin’ Birthday Party; for ages 3 – 6.  

As the first-of-its-kind birthday party in the Twin Cities, the Little Wing Experience/ Rockin’ Birthday Party is an education - based, fun birthday activity.  An accredited, degreed music teacher will guide the “band” (a.k.a. party guests) through an hour of fun music activities using kid-sized real rock instruments while jammin’ out to age-appropriate rock music.  (Think Octopus’s Garden and Drive My Car-The Beatles, Magic Bus-The Who and I Want Candy-Bow Wow Wow.)  

After the jam session, it’s time to honor the Birthday ROCK STAR with the customary birthday cake and gift-opening event.

“Little Wing is the School of Rock’s preschool music program and many parents asked us to create a birthday party package similar to the classes because their kids love class so much,” explains Patrick Spott, Director of Enrollment.  “The Little Wing music program is named in honor of, arguably, the greatest guitarist of all time, Jimi Hendrix."

"Hendrix had a song of the same name in the late 60’s,” says Melody Mendis, Music Director of Little Wing. “Everyone’s heard of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, right?  So why not the Little Wing Experience?”

In addition to the Music Teacher, each birthday party includes an on-site party coordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly. During birthday parties the Little Wing Preschool Music Center closes to the public so the entire Center is dedicated to the birthday child and his/her guests.  The parties are held in the same location as the classes; at the Little Wing Preschool Music Center in Burnsville.  

Party times are available on Saturdays and Sundays and include:
•   Custom party invitations, which we address and mail for the family.
