Warm Human, Cold World charted #1 for three weeks on Solar Radio in Europe. The album also hit the charts as one of the Top 10 Albums on Soul Tracks, Album of the Month in 2011, and nominated for Soul Tracks Awards in 2011. The single, “Greatest Lover” reached “Top 20 Soul Tracks of the Year” on Soul Brothers Records in 2011, and “Greatest Lover” is featured on the Music Choice Cable Television.  HESTON was also “Best Male Vocalist of the Year” in 2011 by Soul Tracks. Born on the Island of Dominica (British West Indies), raised in Philadelphia and now living in Atlanta, GA, HESTON’S love affair with music started at the tender age of three. A singer, songwriter, composer and producer, Heston reminisces about his childhood days listening to his father’s albums and music on the only radio station in the city.  He recalls hearing reggae, pop, classical, soul, R&B, and rock music.  From Barbara Streisand to Aretha Franklin, The Bee Gees, Marvin Gaye, Elton John, Beres Hammond, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson (to name a few),  enjoying music was natural in his home.

HESTON’S popularity extends well beyond the United States.  He has received airplay and performed at some of the top venues around the country and abroad, to include Europe and the Caribbean, the world famous Blue Note Jazz Club, Blues Alley, Apollo Theatre, Highline Ballroom, Emancipation Park (Jamaica), The Jazz Café (London), Bizz Art Club (Paris, France), The Drum and The Union Chapel Islington (London) and numerous other places.  HESTON has received many accolades and awards to include his song “If” –Title track for BET’s Real Life Divas in 2005 plus several additional seasons, charted in the “Top five R&B Soul Albums” in Europe in 2008, Soul Tracks – “Album of the Year”, and nominated for “BET J Virtual Award” and numerous awards.   Ebony, Blues & Soul, Soul Tracks and Rolling Out magazines and numerous other publications have featured the soulful artist.

When HESTON released his debut full-length CD, Storyteller, on WorldSoul Music/Dome Records in 2008, it was an instant hit in Europe selling over 30,000 copies.  Storyteller was name to the “Top 5 Soul Albums” of 2008.  Storyteller also won two Soul Tracks Award Nominations.  In 2009, BET J nominated HESTON for “Independent Artist of the Year”.
