Desiar Releases Collection Of Sunglasses With Natural Wood And Acetate

“Shades of Change” is the company’s mission to make the world a better place. Each year, Desiar will set a goal and partner with a non-profit organization that is impacting the world. In 2011, Desiar has teamed up with Los Angeles based non-profit Thirst Project who has a mission to fight the global water crisis.

•   1.1 Billion people don’t have access to clean drinking water

Desiar has partnered with Thirst Project to build a clean drinking water well that will give clean drinking water to 350 people.  The shades don’t just represent the sunglasses but the gradual influence you make on someone’s life by purchasing a pair of Desiar eyewear.  

The III Collection has been available online at the Desiar Shop and initially launched at The Randolph Street Market in Chicago. About the III collection: The III (three) collection is a hand made range of sunglasses. Maple, black walnut and Padauk woods were used in the production of temples for this collection. Black, clear and tortoiseshell acetate was used to create incredible color effects for the front portion of the frame in production.
