Peg Moline of Natural Health Magazine Appears on The SUZANNE Show this Week on Lifetime Television
Peg Moline, Editor in Chief of Natural Health Magazine, a company dedicated to providing insight into health, fitness and everyday living, will appear on The SUZANNE Show this week to discuss the healing powers soup can provide.
When we were kids, mom tended to our colds and flu with chicken soup. Now we’re finding out, there’s plenty of science to back her up! In this series, Peg teams up with Suzanne to whip up some delectable “healing soups” which address all kinds of health concerns from high blood pressure and depression, to osteoporosis and obesity.
“Studies have found that chicken soup helps relieve the common cold by inhibiting inflammation, and breaking up nasal congestion,”
“Soup also provides a good source of fluid, especially important when your body is fighting off illness,” she adds. “Soup can nourish you as it helps flush waste from the body. Soups and stews don’t require as much energy to digest, freeing your body up to fight an infection.”
Natural Health offers healthy recipes every month in their magazine. You can even find fourteen featured soups in their “Soups that Heal”, February 2012 article. They cover issues like digestive problems, PMS-- even diabetes and cancer.
